Robert E. Glaser

Robert E. Glaser, 87, of Pottsville, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - East.

Born in Schuylkill Haven on February 5, 1939, Robert was a son of the late Ernest E. & Alva (Maberry) Glaser.

Robert was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, Class of 1957 and Muhlenberg College, Class of 1961.

He taught high school mathematics and was employed by the Schuylkill County Assistance Office for many years.

Robert loved and revered Johann Sebastian Bach and sang with the former Bach Choir of Bethlehem for many years.

In addition to his parents, Robert is also preceded in death by one brother, Paul Glaser in 2004, and four sisters, Nancy Campbell in 1982, Ruth Doll in 2011, Janet Glaser in 2012 and Carol Glaser in 2020.

Robert is survived by one sister, Elizabeth Keller, Norfolk, VA, nieces & nephews: Lynn (Campbell) Fitch & family, Thomas Campbell & family, John Keller & family, Julie (Keller) Hering & family, Joseph Costanzo, and David Costanzo & family.

A viewing for family and friends will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am on Monday, October 5, 2026, at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home in Schuylkill Haven. Per Robert’s request, there will be no formal service. Interment will follow at Schuylkill Memorial Park.
