Robert L. Kull, 85, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Friday while in the company of family members at Rest Haven nursing home, Schuylkill Haven.

Robert was born in Arnot's Addition, Nov. 12, 1929, a son of the late Harold J. and Katherine Hochgertel Kull.

Bob graduated from Saint Clair High School.

Bob served in the Army as a first sergeant, retiring April 1, 1968. He was a Korean War and Vietnam War veteran.

He worked as a warehouse manager with Four D South, an electrician at Hill Mfg., Shoemakersville, a painter with Erroll Russell and a self-employed printer.

Bob was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Schuylkill Haven; a 55-year member of Muenster Masonic Lodge 831 Ulm, Germany, Free & Accepted Masons; 37-year member of PA Eastern Star, and served as worthy patron for more than 32 years, a grand representative to New Jersey for two years and state appointments throughout his tenure; Reading Consistory & High Twelve Club; Orwigsburg Lodge 424; Cressona Lodge 367; life member of American Legion Post 719, Saint Clair; life member Auburn VFW Post 3975, and Rainbow Girls chairman.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harold J. Kull, and a sister, Kay Tray.

Robert is survived by two daughters, Robin, wife of W.J. Alexander, Auburn, and Mary, wife of Craig Saul, Douglassville; three grandchildren, Ronnie Alexander, Slatington, A. Vernell Alexander, fiance of Ryan Daniels, Orwigsburg, and W. Jaylee Alexander, husband of Heather Marie Alexander, Auburn; four great-grandchildren, Tristan J. Alexander, Auburn, and Brandon, Brittany and Jacob Burkett, Maryland; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews. Robert is also survived by two sisters, Rita Reppy and Lois Kupchock, both of Cressona.

Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Geschwindt Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services Thursday at First United Church of Christ, where a Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Shawn Van Dyke officiating. Interment with military honors will be conducted at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. The family would prefer remembrances be made to either First United Church of Christ Memorial Fund, 110 Route 61 South, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972 or Wound Warrior Project, P.O.
