Robert L. Laubenstein

Robert L. Laubenstein, 87, of Pine Grove, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at home with family by his side.

Born in Friedensburg on October 4, 1938, Bob was a son of the late Willard and Ada (Keller) Laubenstein.

Married nearly 61 years, Bob was the loving husband of Margaret "Peggy” (Jackson) Laubenstein.

Bob was a graduate of Cressona High School, class of 1956.

After working for years as an auto mechanic, he began a career as a truck driver, working for Evans Delivery and later for ABF.

In addition to his wife, Bob is also survived by children Robert Laubenstein Jr., partner of Amanda Bartlebaugh, Altoona; Kathleen Laubenstein, wife of John Wawrzyniak, Malvern; grandchildren Olivia Wawrzyniak, Gabriela Wawrzyniak, Richard (Tommy) Fink, Jordan Carothers, and Hayden Fink; a sister Elaine Fisher, wife of Thomas, Lake Wynonah; nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by a sister Diane Miller.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 1st at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc in Schuylkill Haven with Rev. Jim Fidler officiating.

A viewing for family and friends will be held from 10:00 AM until time of services.

Interment will follow at Schuylkill Memorial Park Schuylkill Haven.
