Robert Allen Pflueger, 80, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2026, at home with his loving family by his side.
Born in Pottsville on September 13, 1945, he was a son of the late Joseph and Blanche (Bitzer) Pflueger.
Bob was the loving husband of Deborah (Werner) Pflueger, to whom he was married for 34 years.
He was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven Area High School, class of 1965. He also graduated from Oklahoma State Tech in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
Bob was a member of the Church of The Nazarene in Schuylkill Haven, where he sang in the choir and served as a former board member for many years.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army for 3 years during the Vietnam Conflict.
Bob retired from Roadway Trucking where he worked as a Diesel Mechanic for 34 years.
In addition to his wife, Bob is also survived by a son: Todd Pflueger, husband of Kimberly, East Berlin; daughters: Marsha Sadusky, wife of Daniel, Orwigsburg, and Amanda Filiash, wife of George, Pine Grove; grandchildren: Mason and Dawson Pflueger, Abigail and Jackson Sadusky, and Emma Filiash; brothers: Joseph (Penny) and Barry (Lois) Pflueger; sister Barbara (Mark) Coleman; Father-in-law Paul F. Werner, Brother-in-law Paul C. Werner, and Sister-in-law Sandy (Michael) Brady; and several nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and brother Richard Pflueger.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on July 8 at 11:30 AM at the Church of The Nazarene in Schuylkill Haven, PA with Dr. Timothy McKeithen, Pastor and Associate Pastor Susan McKeithen officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville.
