Sandra Fiorella Figueroa

Sandra Fiorella Figueroa, 63, of Cressona, passed away Thursday, December 18th, at home.

Sandy was born in Costa Rica on August 18, 1962, a daughter of Juliette (Francisca) Colon, of Washingtonville, NY.

Working in loss prevention, Sandy was employed by Shop Rite.

Sandy attended Church of the Nazarene, Schuylkill Haven.

A proud mother of three children, she is survived by daughter, Karyna Motta, wife of Joseph, Bronx, NY, and two sons: Julio Figueroa, Cressona, & Maximillian Figueroa, husband of Molly, Winston Salem, NC, her granddaughter, Jillian and another grandchild on the way, her siblings: Nikki Basque, AZ, Gloria Rodriguez, Long Island, NY, Carlos Colon, husband of Marisol, Montgomery, NY, & Gilberto Colon, husband of Melissa, Warwick, NY, numerous nieces & nephews, and her beloved dogs, Maggie & Chico.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Javier Colon, and her dachshund, Sophie.

A private Celebration of Life service will be held at the family’s convenience.
