Shirley L. (Coller) Emerich

Shirley L. Emerich, 86, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Thursday, May 4th, at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA.

Born in Schuylkill Haven on December 2, 1936, she was a daughter of the late James N. & Sarah (Reichert) Coller.

She was the wife of Lawrence C. Emerich.

Shirley was last employed by Walmart.She had been previously employed by Alpha, & Argo Mills.

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by a daughter, Jayne Murphy, wife of Jim, Langhorne, PA; and two sons: Brian Emerich, husband of Deb, Downingtown, PA; & Larry E. Emerich, husband of Kim, Helena, Alabama; as well as five grandchildren: Rebecca, Jim, Travis, Emily, & Alyssa, one sister, Patricia Sage, Stanford, Montana, and nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, Shirley is also preceded in death by her sisters Christine Zimmerman, Carolyn Stephany, and Kathleen Coller, as well as her brother James.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center, Office of Institutional Advancement, 333 Cottman Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19111.

Private services at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, will be held at the convenience of family.
