Steve C. Phillips

Steve C. Phillips, 79, of Auburn, PA, formerly of Boston, MA, passed away Wednesday, July 23rd, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Schuylkill, E. Norwegian St., Pottsville.

Steve was born in Boston, MA on November 8, 1945, a son of the late George C. & Louise (Ciampi) Phillips.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his daughter, Jody J. Phillips, and brother, George Phillips.

Steve had served in the U.S. Navy.He worked most of life as a welder, and was last employed designing railings for walkways and ramps.

Survived by his brother, Gregory L. Phillips, husband of Brenda, daughter, Kelly A. Schacht, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Catholic Funeral Service will be conducted at 11 AM on Wednesday, July 30th at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven. A Viewing will be held at the funeral home from 10 AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Saint John's New Cemetery, Auburn.
