Sylvia A. Moyer, 81, of Auburn, passed away Friday, August 28th, at her residence.
Born in Pottsville on July 24, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Clifford W. Heiser.
In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Guy E. Moyer.
Sylvia was a graduate of Orwigsburg High School, Class of 1952 and was formerly employed by local textile factories as a seamstress.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Summer Hill, Auburn, and also belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #424.
Sylvia is survived by a son,Grant Moyer & his companion, Stacey Lehman, Auburn; a sister, Betty Kaler & husband, William, Orwigsburg; three grandchildren: Kaitlyn Althea Moyer, Schuylkill Haven, Kendall Terese Moyer, Auburn & Nicholas Reichert, Schuylkill Haven, a daughter-in-law, Marsha Moyer, Schuylkill Haven, and a nephew, Wayne Moyer, Pittston.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven, at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 1st, with Rev. David Rowe officiating.
A visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Interment will be privately held at the family’s convenience.
