Thomas D. Cragen

Thomas D. Cragen, 55, of Pottsville, passed away Friday, August 1st, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Born in Wareham, MA on May 21, 1970, he was the son of the late Patricia D. (McDonald) and John W. Cragen, Jr.

Thomas was a 1989 graduate of Schuylkill Intermediate 29.

He was employed at the Country Squire Motel & Restaurant in Schuylkill Haven.

Thomas was a member of the North Ward Social Club, Schuylkill Haven and the Rainbow Hose Fire Co., Schuylkill Haven.

He spent most of his free time shooting pool, where he belonged to several teams around the area and was a member of the American Poolplayers Association. He also truly enjoyed watching Nascar Races and spending time with his cats: Black Jack, Max, & Tiger.

Thomas is survived by two siblings, John W. Cragen III of Shenandoah and Michelle A. Grigg of Pottsville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews: Cord Cragen (Chrissy) of Beaver Meadows; Kendra Cragen of Pottsville; Riana West (Warner) of Port Carbon; Patricia Dankulich (fiancee of Terry Hill) of Pottsville; James Dankulich of Lake Wynonah; and several great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by a sister, Diana Dankulich.

Services and internment are private at the convenience of the family.
