Thomas Jay Stine, 78, of Auburn, passed away Feb. 17 at Reading Hospital, West Reading.
Born in Pottsville, May 27, 1938, he was a son of the late Thomas P. and Blanche Helen Yost Stine.
He was the widower of Hilda R. Stocker Stine, who passed away June 21, 2016.
Jay was a graduate of Emmaus High School and had been employed by the former H. Leh & Co. as a manager, helping to open three stores, and ended his career as head of sales and advertising.
Thomas was a member of Christ Evangelical Free Church, Strausstown.
Jay is survived by a daughter, Donna Lynn Stine, East Greenville; a sister, Nancy E. Siegried, Johnson City, Tenn.; a brother, John H. Stine, Flowery Branch, Ga.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Christ Evangelical Free Church, Strausstown. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Interment will immediately follow the service in St. John's Cemetery, Pine Grove.
