Trudy M. Jenkins, 55, of Falls, passed away Dec. 28 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore.
Trudy was born in Pottsville, March 20, 1962, a daughter of Sylvia J. Reed, Schuylkill Haven and Merlyn J. Jenkins, Pottsville.
She was a 1980 graduate of Blue Mountain High School and then attended University of Pittsburgh with a degree in petroleum engineering. She was employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Todd Jenkins.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Kristin Piccione, Livingston, N.J.; a son, Lancelott Runge, Brooklyn, N.Y.; siblings, Cynthia Miller, Blandon, Timothy J. Jenkins, Schuylkill Haven, Jaymie C. Thomas, Gettysburg, and Tory Jenkins, Schuylkill Haven; grandchildren, Ronin and Zachary Piccione; nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with Certified Celebrant Rebecca Devlin officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private at a later date. The family requests memorial donations to American Cancer Society , 712 S. Keyser Ave., Taylor, PA 18517.
