William A. Reber

William A. Reber, 84, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Friday at Golden LivingCenters-York Terrace, Pottsville.

Born in Cressona, October 14, 1930, he was a son of the late William and Neda Zuber Reber.

He was a member of St. Mark's United Church of Christ, Cressona, and served in the Army National Guard.

Bill was formerly employed by Quakermaid Kitchens as a stainer.

He was the widower of Mary L. Fabian Reber, who passed away July 8, 1998. In addition to his wife, Bill is preceded in death by his grandson, Travis Schuller; and siblings, Austin, Robert, Arthur, Miles and Marguerite.

He is survived by three daughters, Shirley Gilgore and husband, Robert, Schuylkill Haven, Beverly Beck and husband, Randy, Lake Wynonah, and Pauline Schuller, Saint Clair; three grandchildren, Robert J. and Patricia Ann Gilgore and Phelicia Schuller; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; a brother, Ross Reber and wife, Emily, Schuylkill Haven; and his companion, Lois Bosna.

A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with the Rev. Nathan Druckenmiller officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
