Barbara Ann Weidman (Barb), 63, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Thursday, December 14th at home, after a short battle with lung cancer. 

Barb was born in Norristown on February 24, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Maxine (Moore) Korn. She grew up in Conshohocken, PA. Barb later lived in King of Prussia, Norristown, and Sanatoga before retiring to Schuylkill Haven with her husband of 37 years, Thomas M. Weidman. 

Before retiring in 2012, Barb worked in various retail positions for K-Mart, Marshalls, and Walmart. While she enjoyed working in retail, Barb found her true passion and calling working with children. Barb worked with young children and infants as an early childhood education teacher at various Daycare centers over the years. 

Barb was of Episcopal faith. Barb was known as Chuch, Nana and Aunt Barb to numerous nieces and nephews. She was loved by all that came into her life for being a kind, caring and genuine person. Barb enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, pets and most of all grandchildren. 

Barbara is survived by her husband Thomas M. Weidman, her four sons: Thomas D. Weidman, Matthew Arena, Brian Arena & Lucas Weidman, Nine Grandchildren: Nathaniel Grabowski-Arena, Coleen Arena, Haley Weidman, Arianna Arena, Leonardo Arena, Zoey Weidman, Bradley Arena, Wyatt Weidman, & Myles Arena and three siblings: Karen Goltz, Jean Bielawksi, & Tim Korn 

Barb was preceded in death by parents Ken and Max Korn, her son Michael Angelo Arena Jr, and oldest brother Kenny Korn. 

Services and interment will be held privately. 

In lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to St Jude’s Children Hospital and The American Cancer Society in Barbara’s name.
