Gurney Q. Williard

Gurney Q. Williard, 80, of Auburn, passed away Sunday, July 31st, at St. Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg.
Born in Gratz on September 28, 1941, he was the son of the late Grace (Murry) and Harry Williard.
He was the husband of Barbara (Reed) Williard.
Gurney was a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church in Schuylkill Haven.
He served in the U.S. Army. 
Gurney was self-employed as a truck driver.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters; Suzanne, wife of David Johns, of Schuylkill Haven, Sherre, wife ofNevin Maurer, of Pitman, Carolyn, wife ofRandy Jacobs, of Clinton, NC, a son, Dwayne, husband ofSheila Williard, of Clinton, NC. 
 He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 4th at Geschwindt Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc. in Schuylkill Haven. A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the start of the service.
At the family's request, memorial donations may be forwarded to Grace Evangelical Congregational Church at 151 Earl Stoyer Road, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.
