Obituary

James E. Manion , Jr., 61, of Mount Carbon passed away Thursday, March 2nd, at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem.

James was born in Pottsville, PA on February 24, 1962, a son of Mary Ann (Chaposky) Manion, of St. Clair and the late James E. Manion, Sr

He served in the U.S. Army during Desert Storm as well as the National Guard and the Army Reserves.

He was a machine operator at Rubber Maid, Pottsville.

Jim was a member of Ancient Order of Hiberians, St. Clair, St. Clair Legion Post #719, Pottsville Amvets and Cressona Legion Post #286.

In addition to his mother Jim is survived by his life time partner Doris (Dee) Dwin 2 step daughters Jaimee Darosh wife of John Frackville, Tracy Dwin-Correll wife of Thomas St. Clair, 2 brothers Patrick Michael Manion St. Clair, Michael Robert Manion St. Clair, 2 sisters Carol Manion Todd wife of Edward Jacksonville FL, Kathleen Penkala wife of Thomas State College 2 nieces Jamie Lochridge Jacksonville FL and Michaela Gabriella Penkala State College.

Services with full military honors and interment private at convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Annville PA.

At the family's request, memorial donations may be forwarded to Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc., 25 East Main Street, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972, to help defray the costs of the funeral.
