Kenneth Wingle Obituary

Kenneth W. Wingle, 66, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Monday, January 3rd, at home unexpectedly. 
Born in Pottsville on July 17, 1955, he was a son of the late Gerald J. Wingle, Sr. & Blanche G. (Rich) Wingle.
He was a 1973 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School.
Kenn was a faithful member of Word of Life Baptist Church, Pottsville, for over 35 years. He played guitar with the music ministry for services each Sunday.
He retired from Classtex textile factory, Orwigsburg, in 2010.
Kenn was a talented musician.  He played guitar and piano. He was a member of the band, Abbey Road, for over 40 years. 
Kenn enjoyed photography and videography. He was a sci-fi fan and loved Star Trek and Star Wars.
Kenn is survived by his dear friends, church family, and several nieces & nephews who affectionately called him Uncle Jedi.
In addition to his parents, Kenn is also preceded in death by his sister, Rose Kochenberger, and brothers: John, & Jerry Wingle.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, January 11th at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with Pastors Paul Zaspel and Rick Kantner co-officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of service.
Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
At the family's request, memorial donations in Kenn's memory may be forwarded to Word of Life Baptist Church, 302 N. Centre St., Pottsville, PA 17901.
