Margaret Curran Obituary


Margaret M. Curran, 92, of Masonic Villages Elizabethtown, died Friday, September 4th, at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Dauphin County.
 
 
 
Born in St. Clair, PA on February 5, 1928, a daughter of the late Justina (Bordash) and George Metroka.
 
 
 
She was the widow of John "Jack" Curran who died June 27, 2010.
 
 
 
She was a former member of St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, Elizabethtown.
 
 
 
She worked for the Pa Labor and Industry in Harrisburg for 31 years. She was a founding member of The Carpatho-Rusyn Society.
 
 
 
She was recently preceded in death by a brother George Metroka, and several other Metroka & Suprock brothers and sisters.  
 
Margaret is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, Michael Bell Sr. Husband of Alberta, St. Clair, Christine Kantner, Hummelstown, Pierson Bell, Nicholas Bell, Michael Bell Jr. Husband of Regina, Ariella Bell, Michele (née Bell) Gopinath wife of Shine, Melanie (née Bell) Meakin wife of Matthew, Christopher Meakin, Jacob Meakin, Arun Gopinath, Joseph Bell, Timothy Bell, Benjamin Bell and Mira Gopinath.
 
 
 
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with Father Jeffrey Zias officiating. Interment will be at Indinatown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
 
 
 
The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions to St. Michael Orthodox Church 106 North Morris Street St. Clair, PA 17970
