Margaret Malloy Obituary

Margaret M. Malloy, 92, of New Ringgold, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away Monday, May 10th, at the home of her son Philip Malloy, with her family by her side. 

 

She was born November 12, 1928 in Huntingdon Valley, PA. She was the daughter of Joseph and Adeline (Palmer) Cataldo. She was married to Thomas Edward Malloy for 66 years until his passing, on September 27, 2016.

 

She was preceded in death by her six siblings Fanny Buccello, Joseph Cataldo, Philip Cataldo, Lucy Feriod, Anthony Cataldo and Adeline Sorace. 

 

Surviving are her three sons Thomas Malloy husband of Gina, Philip Malloy husband of Bonnie, and Daniel Malloy husband of Lynn. She is also survived by eight grandchildren Philip Malloy, Jennifer Jones, Jeffrey Malloy, Stephen Malloy, Grace Malloy, Madeline Malloy, Jonathan Malloy and Rachel Malloy. She has eight great grandchildren and is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

 

She was passionate throughout her life with landscaping and worked as a floral designer in the Philadelphia area for many years, after graduating from Lower Moreland High School. Her focus was always care of her family and cooking amazing dinners for her loved ones. 

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Hamburg on Friday, May 21 at 11 am with Reverend Don Cieniewicz officiating.

 

No visitation will be held prior.
