Roy Leon Ulmer, 64, and Wanda Lou Ulmer, 62, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Monday, November 22nd, at St. Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg.
Both born in Williamsport, PA, Roy entered into life on March 18, 1957, a son of the late William Truman & Lulu Horn Ulmer. Wanda entered into life on December 14, 1958, a daughter of Thelma Kline, who survives her.
Wanda was a graduate of Williamsport Area High School.
Roy grew up as a farmer in Cogan Station, PA. He had earned his GED, as well as his CDL license. He enjoyed his career as a tractor trailer driver.
Roy and Wanda were married August 16, 1977, and shared 44 years of marriage together.
They were of the Christian faith.
In their spare time, the couple enjoyed playing cards together.Roy and Wanda loved watching football.They cheered on Penn State together.When watching NFL, Roy rooted for the Chiefs and Wanda rooted for Green Bay.
Wanda was a talented seamstress. She enjoyed crafting and baking.
In addition to Wanda's mother with whom they resided, the couple is also survived by a son, Shawn Ulmer (Kim), three grandchildren: Kristen (Riemann), Dominique (Nate), & Jadyn Ulmer, and two great-grandchildren: Mercy, & Payton. The couple's surviving siblings include Wanda's brother, Rick, (Polly); Roy's brothers: Roger Ulmer (Jane), Arthur Ulmer (Kathy), & Ardon Ulmer, and Roy's sisters: Carol Converse (widow of Thomas), Rebecca Miller (Merl), Mary Ramer, & Alice Troisi (Mark). Several cousins, nieces and nephews and many extended family members, as well as close friends.
Roy's brother, Richard Ulmer (Wanda) preceded the couple in death.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
