Stephen P. Sandler

Stephen P. Sandler, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many, passed away at his home on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at the age of 63 after several months of declining health.

He was born December 27, 1959 to the late Georgia and Merlin Sandler. Steve was a 1978 graduate of Blue Mountain High and 1982 graduate of Susquehanna University. He was an avid outdoorsman and in particular, loved the time he spent on Lake Wynonah fishing, boating, and socializing with friends. He enjoyed hunting and golfing with his buddies at Myrtle Beach. He was a machinist and President of San-Fab-Co Inc., a metal fabricating business which was started by his late father over 60 years ago. 

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sallie (Geary) Sandler; son Brendan Sandler, grandson Gunnar, and companion Rebecca Chapman of Reynolds PA; daughter Stephanie Sandler and companion Katie Loury of Schuylkill Haven; brothers and sisters Jane Gordon, Schuylkill Haven; Mary Jo Moss, Orwigsburg; Mark Sandler, Schuylkill Haven; Beth Keer, Gambrils MD; Joy Eldredge, Napa CA; aunt, Vera Sandler, Perryville, MO, and extended family.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven, at 11 AM Tuesday. A visitation will be held from 9 AM until the time of service. Interment will be held privately.
