Troy Dando, 52, of Cumbola, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 28th.
Troy was born in Pottsville, PA on April 10, 1970, son of Donna (Wike) and Richard Dando, of Pottsville.
He was the husband of Melissa (Wetzel) Dando.
In addition to his wife and parents, Troy is survived by a son, Parker Dando, North Carolina; a brother, Todd, husband of Kim Dando, and two nieces, Haley and Lindsay of Newburg, NY; Stepson Craig Krause and a Step grandson Jedd Krause, both of Ashland.
Troy proudly served his country as a Corporal in the US Marine Corp. from 1989 to 1993. He was owner and operator of Custom Gun Finishes, Minersville.
He was a former member of Just for Vets, USMC Coal Cracker Detachment League and Seltzer Gun Club.
Troy was known for his larger than life personality. He was quick witted and a friend to all.
A visitation will be held on Thursday October 6 at 9:30 - 11:30 am at Ebling Stabingas Funeral Home, Cressona.
A Celebration of Life Memorial will follow at 11:30 am with Pastor Kenton Martin officiating.
A columbarium placement with full military honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville on Thursday October 6 at 1:30 pm.
