Bonnie J. Richards, 62, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Saturday at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg.
Born in Pottsville, Dec. 25, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Richard Sr. and Joyce Reber Luckenbill.
She was a member of Bethesda Evangelical Congregational Church, Reedsville.
Bonnie was a 1969 graduate of Blue Mountain High School and then attended Marion College and received a bachelor's degree in physical education.
She was formerly employ-ed by R&J as a motor coach driver. She was an avid golfer and a member of the Hidden Valley Ladies Golf League.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an aunt, Dawn Baker; and many other aunts and uncles.
Bonnie is survived by a daughter, Carly Richards, and a son, Kevin Richards, husband of Carolyn, all of Schuylkill Haven; twin grandchildren due May 2015. Bonnie is also survived by brothers, Larry Luckenbill, husband of Carol, Friedensburg, and Richard Luckenbill Jr., husband of Donna, Schuylkill Haven; a sister, Laurel Englert, wife of John, Clarion; her stepmom, Betty Boyer, widow of Richard Luckenbill Sr. and wife of Paul, Tennessee; nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Bethesda Evangelical Congregational Church, Reedsville, with the Rev. Mark Brooks officiating. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. At the family's request, memorial donations may be sent to Bethesda EC Church Memorial Fund, 155 Reedsville Road, Schuyl-kill Haven, PA 17972. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
