Brian J. Peiffer

Brian J. Peiffer, 55, of Summit Station, passed away Sunday at Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street.

Born in Pottsville, Dec. 2, 1959, he was a son of Russell and F. Mae Edwards Peiffer, Summit Station.

He was a 1977 graduate of Blue Mountain High School, and was employed by Dolfin Apparel.

Brian was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Summer Hill.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his companion, Sherri Haller; his children, Jason Peiffer, Reading, Kevin Peiffer, Hamburg, and Brianna Peiffer, at home; Sherri's children, Kendra Kline, Dillon Haller and Skye Haller, all at home; grandchildren, Bentley and Porsche Martin (children of Kendra Kline). He is also survived by siblings, Richard Peiffer, husband of Annette, Elkton, Md., Ruth Ann Freeman, wife of Kenneth, Georgetown, Texas, David Peiffer, widower of Janet, Summit Station, and Janet Rodnick, wife of Nicholas, Summit Station; nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with the Rev. Bradley Walmer officiating. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 12:30 p.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home. At the family's request, memorial donations may be sent to Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., 25 E.
