Evelyn M. Keller, 73, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Monday, December 11th, at her residence, after a 5 month battle with multiple brain tumors.

Evelyn was born in Pottsville, on April 20, 1944, a daughter of the late Mildred E. (Roeder) Ulsh and John R. Ulsh, Sr.

Evie was a 1962 graduate of Blue Mountain High School. She was a seamstress at the family business she co-owned with her husband, Keller's Cleaners, Schuylkill Haven, until retiring in 2015. She was very skilled in sewing, there was rarely a challenge she could not overcome. Having a passion for traveling, she visited all 50 states and traveled abroad and enjoyed touring numerous historical sites and manufacturing factories and could navigate a road map with ease. She loved the color red, which she had numerous items, including vehicles, during her life. She enjoyed her toy poodles having many throughout her life. She lived in the area most of her life, the only exception being 1957-58 when her family relocated to Middletown, Delaware. She still kept in touch with many friends she had made in the 2 years she resided there. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ Summer Hill, Auburn.

Evie is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gary L. Keller, Sr. She is also survived by sons Gary and wife Carla and Jack and wife Denette; grandchildren Sara, Austin, Jack, Cortney and Gregory; brothers John, Galen and Randall; nieces and nephews.

As per Evie's request there will be no viewing. A graveside service for friends and family will be held at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven, PA, at 11:30 am on Thursday, December 14th,  with Certified Celebrant Caitlyn Ebling officiating.
