Nicholas A. Einsig, 35, of Orwigsburg, passed away Saturday at his residence.
Nicholas was born in Pottsville, Nov. 8, 1980, a son of Linda and Jerry Einsig, Orwigsburg.
He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Schuylkill Haven.
Nick was a 1999 graduate of Blue Mountain High School and a 2004 graduate of Kutztown University. He was employed as a sixth-grade learning support teacher at Pine Grove Area. He was also a coach for the Pottsville Rotary Little League and many traveling baseball teams.
Nick was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Kenny Miller, and paternal grandparents, Ara and Dick Einsig.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister and best friend, Gina Neyer, wife of Josh, Schuylkill Haven; nephew, Dominic Behney and niece, Savannah Neyer, who meant the world to him and were a very special part of his life; maternal grandmother, Vera Miller; cousin and dearest friend, Jimmy and cousins Bear, Ricky, Heather and Matt; aunts and uncles.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with the Rev. Janet Lewis officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
