Caitlyn E. (Ebling) Haus
Owner, Funeral Director
Caitlyn has been actively involved in the funeral profession since 2006. She has grown up in the family business and is readily available to help families in their time of need. She is the daughter of C. Elmer Ebling and Suzanne “Ginger” Ebling.
Caitlyn is a graduate of the Blue Mountain High School, Class of 2008. After graduating, she attended Northampton Community College, Bethlehem and completed her degree in Funeral Service Education. She graduated college in 2011 and immediately began her one year of internship at the Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc. and Ebling Stabingas Funeral Home. She received her Funeral Directing License in May 2012. She intends to stay local and work in the family business that she grew up in.
She has been certified through the Cremation Association of North America, (CANA) as a crematory operator for Riverside Cremation Services, LLC, located on site. Caitlyn also serves as a certified celebrant and has conducted numerous funeral and memorial services since 2012.
Caitlyn is a member of multiple organizations, including the Schuylkill-Lebanon chapter of Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association, which she served as past president and St. Ambrose R.C. Church, Schuylkill Haven.
Caitlyn married her husband, Andrew S. Haus on October 3, 2020. In October of 2022, they welcomed triplets Adelyn Suzanne, Jackson Paul and Theodore Scott. They reside in Orwigsburg and enjoy taking the triplets on hikes and playing outside.

Andy Haus
Owner

He spent the next 15 years building a career in the medical device industry, gaining valuable experience and making a meaningful impact in the field. In 2023, he and Caitlyn decided to purchase her family’s business from Elmer and Ginger, which they now run together. Andy is currently attending the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, working toward becoming a licensed funeral director in Pennsylvania.
Andy and Caitlyn are the proud parents of triplets: Adelyn, Theodore, and Jackson. As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors, especially hiking, biking and swimming.
Outside of work and family life, Andy spent 20 years as a racecar driver and still enjoys working on cars attending dirt track races whenever he gets a chance.

Rebecca Deatrich Devlin
Funeral Director
Becky is the daughter of Albert & Linda (Albitz) Deatrich. She is a graduate of Schuylkill Haven Area High School, Class of 2008. Following high school, Becky graduated from Northampton Community College, Bethlehem, majoring in funeral services. She received her degree in May 2011 and served her one year internship with the Geschwindt-Stabingas & Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Homes. She received her Pennsylvania State Funeral Director’s license on June 1, 2012. Becky has been employed by the funeral homes since 2007.
She had been certified through the Cremation Association of North America, (CANA) as a crematory operator for Riverfront Cremation Services, LLC, located on site of Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven. Becky also serves as a certified celebrant and has conducted numerous funeral and memorial services since 2012. She served as past secretary/treasurer of the Schuylkill-Lebanon chapter of the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association.
Becky was crowned the 2011 Greater Pottsville Winter Carnival Queen and continues to serve the organization as a judge. Becky recently took on the role of Board Member for Schuylkill United Way. She also belongs to the Robert E. Baker, Post #38 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Schuylkill Haven.
Becky is a member of First United Church of Christ, Schuylkill Haven.
She married her husband, Brandon M. Devlin, son of Mayor Michael & Judith (Hummel) Devlin on September 12, 2015. The couple resides in Auburn in the Lake Wynonah Community. Becky and Brandon are the proud parents of their sons, Daniel & Collin.
Becky is truly honored to serve families in the very community she was raised.

C. Elmer Ebling
Funeral Director
Elmer Ebling has been practicing the funeral business for 27 years. He was born in Pottsville, the son of the late Theodore “Ted” and Alice (Betack) Ebling. He was a graduate of Blue Mountain High School, Class of 1980. He then attended Northampton Community College, where he received his degree in Funeral Service.
Elmer then served his internship with Heffner Funeral Home, West York, PA. After his apprenticeship he returned home where he became a funeral director at his father’s funeral home, Ebling Funeral Home, Cressona. In 1985 he took over the family business. In 2004 he became a partner with the Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven. Now he is owner and president of Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc., Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home and Riverside Cremation Services, LLC. The funeral home is the first in Schuylkill County to have an on site crematory. Elmer has been certified through the Cremation Association of North America, (CANA) as a crematory operator for Riverside Cremation Services, LLC.
Elmer is involved with his church, St. Mark’s United Church of Christ, Cressona, the Cressona Lodge #222 F&AM where he served as a master, Beckville Gun Club, Cressona and Red Hill Gun Club, Summit Station. He is also a member of the Cressona and Wayne Township Lions Clubs.
He is married to Suzanne “Ginger” (Rhodes) Ebling and has two daughters, Melissa Clark and Caitlyn Haus. Melissa is a high school math teacher in the Mount Carmel School District. Caitlyn, followed in her father’s footsteps and also went to mortuary school. She is now a funeral director and works at all of our funeral homes and the crematory.

Leah received her Crematory Operator Training certificate through Matthews Environment Solutions and also works as a crematory operator for Riverfront Cremation Services, LLC, located on site.
Prior to joining our team, Leah dedicated nearly 20 years to caring for others in the healthcare field at a local hospital. She is honored to bring that same compassion, kindness, and unwavering commitment to serving families throughout Schuylkill County and the surrounding communities. With integrity and empathy, Leah is devoted to providing guidance, support, and exceptional care during life’s most difficult moments.
A lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Auburn, Leah has been an active member of the church's handbell choir since the age of 11 and served on church council. In her free time, Leah also enjoys camping, fishing, spending time at the beach, sports and is an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan.
Leah grew up in Cressona and is married to her husband, Matthew Bowman. They currently reside in Friedensburg with their 2 children, Carly and Tanner.

Jerry Wojciechowski
Funeral Planning Advisor
Born and raised in nearby Berks County Pennsylvania, Jerry has always been proud to call this region home. After graduating from Penn State University, he spent much of his career in various service industry positions and devoted his free time to giving back through public service, including serving on Borough Councils, Recreation Boards, and numerous community organizations. Helping people has always been at the heart of everything he does.
Later in his career, Jerry discovered what he believes is his true calling—the funeral profession. Over the past 15 years, it has been his honor to walk alongside families during some of the most difficult times in their lives. Having worked with both large and small funeral homes, one thing has remained constant for him: every family deserves compassion, respect, and someone who will take the time to listen.
Today, he is honored to serve as Funeral Planning Advisor for Ebling Haus Funeral Homes. He enjoys helping individuals and families learn about the many options available through advance funeral planning, making what can seem like an overwhelming process simple and comfortable. His goal is never to pressure anyone into making decisions. Instead, he strives to answer questions, provide guidance, and help families make choices that reflect their wishes and values.
Whether meeting at one of Ebling Haus's funeral homes or in the comfort of a family's home, he is happy to work around any schedule and take as much time as needed. He believes the best conversations happen when people feel relaxed, heard, and cared for.
He and his wife, Alexa, are grateful and blessed to live close to their three children—Nick, Jana, and Cara—and their three incredible grandchildren, Benjamin, Grace, and Joey. Family means everything to him, which is one of the main reasons he feels so strongly about helping other families plan ahead. He firmly believes that having a thoughtful plan in place is one of the greatest gifts anyone can leave the people they love.

A lifelong resident of Schuylkill Haven, Al is the son of the late Earl & Mae (Mengel) Deatrich. Married in 1986, Al is the loving husband of Linda (Albitz) Deatrich. He is the proud father of funeral director, Becky Deatrich Devlin, wife of Brandon. His two beloved grandsons, Daniel & Collin describe him as “The Best Pappy Ever”.
Al is a 1976 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School. After 31 years of service to the Schuylkill Haven Borough as an electrical lineman, Al retired in 2021. He enjoys working with his daughter at the funeral home as a funeral assistant, handyman, and certified crematory operator.

Meet William C. Pugh, Funeral Director & Supervisor of our Pottsville location.
Born in Pottsville, Bill is the son of the late John J. and Marguerite Steidle Pugh. Bill graduated from Pottsville Area High School. After graduation he served eight years in the United States Air Force, as an operating room technician. While in the service he attended Mohawk Valley Community College and Utica College. After his honorable discharge from the service he attended Penn State Schuylkill Campus.
Bill later attended and graduated from Simmons School of Mortuary Science, Syracuse, N.Y. He served his internship with the former Allen Funeral Home, where he eventually became co-owner of the Allen & Pugh Funeral Home, Inc. He later served as supervisor for the Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc.
Bill's community involvement includes memberships in the First United Methodist, Pottsville where he has served on many boards, the Pottsville Kiwanis Club where he served as President twice. He is a member of Pulaski F&AM Lodge 216, Pottsville, and Caldwell Consistory Valley of Bloomsburg. He served as Chairman for food and beverage for the Schuylkill United Way, and is a member of the Good Intent Hose Company, Pottsville. Bill is also a member of the Sportsman Bowling League in Pottsville.
He is married to Mary Ann Allen Pugh and they have two daughters, Jennifer, wife of Dr. Michael O’Connell, and Heather Lynne Pugh, partner of Marti Montanya. They are also the proud grandparents of Ava, Raegan O’Connell, Janiyah, Noelle, Ethan, and Addy.
