Marie C. Dillman Wisner, 69, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Thursday at Lehigh Valley Medical Center, Allentown.
Born in Coaldale, Feb. 9, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Frank A. and Marie Stahler McDermott.
She attended Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Schuylkill Haven, and was last employed by Alpha Mills, retiring in May 2006.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Vernon Dillman Jr.; siblings, Louise Bean, Robert McDermott, Thomas McDermott and Patricia Stine.
Marie is survived by children, Catherine Bensinger and husband, Edward, Carol Lopez and husband, Mark, all of Schuylkill Haven, Vernon F. "Sam" Dillman III and wife, Amy, Auburn, and Corrine Dietrich, Schuylkill Haven; grandchildren, Jennifer Bensinger Thomas and husband, Derek, Janel Bensinger, Matthew and Maria Lopez, Allyssa Thomas, Cora-Ann Mayan and husband, Eric, Caitlyn and Callie Boyer; great-grandchildren, Paige Bensinger, Phillip O'Donnell and Adison Fairchild; two brothers, T. P. McDermott and wife, Sue, and Joseph McDermott; former husband, Vincent Wisner.
A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven. A viewing will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be privately held in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown, at the family's convenience. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Marie's name may be made to Hillside SPCA, P.O. Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901.
